Community & Events Coordinator at Bloom Finland

As a volunteer Community & Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Operations in planning and executing events that strengthen our local community. You will help with event logistics, outreach, and coordination to ensure smooth operations and engaging experiences for attendees. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community building, event organization, and teamwork.

Location: Tampere, Lahti, Porvoo, Oulu, Helsinki

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and coordinating events, from planning to execution
• Support logistics, including venue arrangements, scheduling, and supplier coordination
• Engage with attendees, volunteers, and partners to foster a welcoming community
• Assist in tracking event success and gathering feedback for improvement
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations as needed
• Support the preparation of event descriptions and basic promotional content for the marketing team

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Enthusiasm for community engagement and event planning
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
• Prior experience in events, coordination, or community work is a plus but not required
• The working language is English. Finnish is a plus but not mandatory.
• Interest in media, marketing, communications, or storytelling is an advantage, with opportunities to learn on the role

Time Commitment

This is a volunteer role with potential opportunities for compensation through grant funded projects. The role may require up to 10 hours per month, with occasional additional time during special events or projects.
