Miranda Kihlström, Head of Operations, Tampere

We are thrilled to welcome Miranda Kihlström from the UK to our team. Miranda brings extensive global experience in leading teams within the Travel & Tourism industry, excelling in communication, business development, event design, and management. Her passion for enhancing consumer experiences and her adept presentation skills stem from her background as a radio show producer and host in the UK.
Miranda's entrepreneurial spirit shines through her successful wellness business, driven by her commitment to her son as a single parent. We are confident that her expertise and innovative mindset will be invaluable to our organization. Having made Tampere her home, Miranda supports her son with his education and ice hockey dreams here. Over 20 years of visiting, she has grown to love Tampere and its diverse community.
With over 25 years in the travel industry, Miranda enjoys meeting new people and exploring different cultures. As a community-oriented individual, she is dedicated to helping internationals settle and thrive in their new home. She believes in Bloom's mission to foster harmony between Finns and internationals, focusing on improving wellbeing and reducing isolation.
Her motto is 'Life is an adventure – let's live it!' and she truly embodies this spirit in everything she does.

Musa Thompson, Head of Operations, Oulu

Musa Oluwaseun Thompson is a Nigerian IT professional who has been living in Finland since 2008.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and a Master's degree in Software Systems Engineering. A highly motivated individual, he thrives under pressure and values constructive communication as a key driver of personal and team development.
Outside of work, Musa enjoys both playing and watching football (soccer).

Lawrence Ambe, Head of Operations, Porvoo

Lawrence Ambe is a seasoned finance professional with nearly a decade of experience in the field. Holding a Master’s degree in Financial Information Systems from Hanken School of Economics, he currently serves as a Financial Controller at Wolt, where he specializes in project management, process optimization, and financial efficiency. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives that have enhanced operational effectiveness and driven business growth.
Passionate about professional development and community impact, Lawrence joined Bloom as Head of Operations in Porvoo to support others in advancing their careers and businesses. Having navigated the challenges of professional growth himself, he is dedicated to creating opportunities and structures that empower individuals to succeed.
Based in Porvoo with his family of four, Lawrence enjoys the city's dynamic energy, is an avid sports enthusiast, and thrives on connecting with new people. His commitment to fostering both personal and professional success makes him an inspiring leader at Bloom.

Kimberley Poskela, Head of Operations, Lahti

Kimberley Poskela, a tech professional with a background in linguistics and modeling foundations, joins Bloom as Head of Operations – Lahti for the 2025 term. Passionate about empowering internationals, she advocates for understanding Finland’s unwritten expectations to create a level playing field.
Her vision for Bloom Lahti is to inspire Lahtelaiset to embrace growth and development opportunities together.

Jane Besong-Ndika, Head of Operations, Helsinki

Jane Besong-Ndika, Ph.D., PMP, is a senior research and development professional with almost a decade’s experience in In Vitro Diagnostics assay design and development. She has a keen interest in utilizing her scientific knowledge and skills for developing rapid and innovative point-of-care devices that would accelerate medical diagnosis.
Outside her professional milieu, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, entertainment and passionate about general well-being.
She believes everyone possesses unique abilities, we are stronger together and thrive when connected. Through Bloom she hopes to enable individuals access connections that would enable them bloom within the Helsinki Metropolitan area and beyond.
