Community & Events Coordinator at Bloom Porvoo
Role Overview
As a volunteer Community & Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head of Operations in planning and executing events that strengthen our local community. You will help with event logistics, outreach, and coordination to ensure smooth operations and engaging experiences for attendees. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community-building, event organization, and teamwork.
What You’ll Do
Assist in organizing and coordinating events, from planning to execution.
Support logistics, including venue arrangements, scheduling, and supplier coordination.
Engage with attendees, volunteers, and partners to foster a welcoming community.
Assist in tracking event success and gathering feedback for improvement.
Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations as needed.
Qualities We’re Looking For
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Enthusiasm for community engagement and event planning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in events, coordination, or community work is a plus but not required.
The working language is English, but knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Time Commitment
This is a non-paid role with potential opportunities for compensation through grant projects, requiring up to 10 hours per month during special projects.
